Jamie Dyer and David French are both longtime fixtures in the Central Virginia music scene. A 2007 memorial service for a mutual friend was where they met and that service was their first gig together.
Jamie has lived in Central Virginia for the better part of his 61 years, fronting The Hogwaller Ramblers for a third of that time. David is from Albemarle County and has played in many bands and with many musicians -as well as giving many guitar lessons- in his 41 years. Jamie and David are both songwriters and at least one of them can sing sometimes.
Bob Taylor and Carolyn Stone have loved music for as long as they can remember and they thoroughly enjoy playing music from the many genres that they have grown up with. They like to point out that most of the songs they perform were popular before most of their audience were born. Whether it's swing music from the 30's and 40's, classic honky tonk country music, or old 50's rock, they blend guitar and bass with vocal harmonies that put a slight personal twist on the music. They are especially pleased when they can persuade special guest Bill Staton to join them with his world class guitar stylings and solos to enhance the mix.
