POSTPONED :(
Update, Thursday 1/4/24 — WELP, this is an opportunity to practice patience… we’re making the tough call to go ahead and close up this weekend. **The Storm** looks like it might be just rain at this point - but with freezing temperatures and potentially icy conditions - we’d rather keep everyone safe.
Several of our musicians for this show live up on or over the mountains, and it just doesn’t feel right to put them at risk traveling late at night. There are also some unexpected hurdles we’re facing both in Jacob’s and the Rapunzel’s families this week and we’d rather party with all y’all when we can be more relaxed. Stay tuned for a rescheduled shindig with HOBOJAC and Steve Wilson because we were very excited to gather these mighty fine folks together. BE SAFE, help out your neighbors, and take good care. And we do still hope Jacob has a very happy birthday!
Rapunzel’s will be closed this Saturday, 1/6.
See you next week on Friday, 1/12 for Open Mic Night & on Saturday, 1/13 for The Gin Rickies.
It’s that time of year again…….
Let’s get rowdy

Opening set by Nelson County’s Steve Wilson!!
Birthday jam party set with HOBOJAC happens next - featuring Jacob Paul Allen, John Howard, Jesse Suhl Fiske, and Jimmy Stelling.
HOBOJAC was born in 2007 when John Howard & Jacob Paul Allen came together to mold an alternative acoustic style of playing that stems from Country Roots. Their clash of musical styles and influences created an original form of Mountain Americana that they call "Y'awlternative." From tongue and cheek songs to heart felt ballads to foot stompin' rowdy tunes, HOBOJAC puts on a live show that keeps folks wanting to hear more. Their songs and comedic stage banter set this group apart from any other band around.
This is gonna be a great time!
$10 cover for the show
